Origin: Shan Lin Xi, Nantou County, Taiwan

A.K.A: Taiwan Tie Guan Yin King, 極品台灣鐵觀音王

About: Grown in the high mountains of Shan Lin Xi, roughly 1600 meters above sea level, our “Formosa Iron Goddess” is made from an Anxi Iron Goddess Tie Guan Yin cultivar. Grown in Taiwanese terroir, and made with local Taiwanese tea roasting methods, the end result is a well-crafted fusion of flavors. It has the initial aromas of sweet nutty graham crackers, followed with a fragrant sugarcane-like flavor and aftertaste.

Health Benefits: : Contains an abundant source of natural plant-derived antioxidant compounds called polyphenols, provides protective antioxidant action against harmful free radicals, provides a source of nutrients including magnesium, potassium, calcium, the vitamins C and K and the amino acid theanine, all in trace amounts.
